Ingredients

We use only the highest quality natural ingredients in every Cú Kit, and fully exclude ingredients that can cause common digestive issues like sugar or other sweeteners, baking powder and baking soda. Dogs have no use for these human foods for either texture or taste, and go nuts for earthy, fruity, nutty, tangy and naturally sweet fresh baked treats! All of our ingredients are carefully sourced for adherence to these standards, and it is our promise to you and your hound that we will never add or substitute ingredients of a lesser quality or composition! All kits are dairy-free with the exception of the Cúbakes carob & goat milk icing. As with all treats, please feed Cú Bakery treats in moderation while supervised, and portioned to a size suitable for your dog.

Apples are a low-calorie source of vitamin C, flavonoid antioxidants and fiber which supports digestion and overall immune system, muscle, skin and bone health.

Bananas contain several key vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B6, vitamin C, manganese and potassium, but more importantly dogs are bananas for bananas!

Blueberries are loaded with antioxidants, fiber, vitamin K, manganese and vitamin C, along with many other micronutrients.

Carob Powder contains protein, fiber as well as key nutrients like calcium, potassium and iron. This earthy, non-caffeinated and naturally sweet powder is a dog-safe alternative to cocoa.

Ceylon Cinnamon a.k.a. ‘true’ cinnamon is harvested from a different tree as the more common Cassia cinnamon. We use Ceylon cinnamon because it is contains only trace amounts of coumarin, plus the flavor is lighter.

Dragonfruit, also known as Pitaya, benefits for dogs include boosting the immune system, aiding digestion and improving heart health. Dogs love love love the flavor!

Our Goat milk powder is sourced from a Canadian dairy where goats are raised on nutritious year-round diet of alfalfa hay (up to 96 % of total diet), free pasture as much as the goats take in, and a grain ration that includes a protein, mineral and gut health source. The milk is guaranteed to be free of antibiotics and hormones.

We use certified gluten-free Oat flour. Oats don’t contain the protein gluten in wheat, barley and rye, and instead contain a higher protein substance called “avenins”. It is loaded with 16+ essential nutrients and delivers comfort-food goodness!

Our Peanut Powder is 85% fat-reduced by pressing out most of the natural oils from roasted peanuts and then grinding into a fine powder, leaving the protein and fiber. Since there is evidence that some dogs (and humans) have difficulty digesting the fat in peanuts, peanut powder is great news for dogs because almost all pups go gaga for peanuts!

Pumpkin is loaded with minerals, antioxidants, beta-carotene, vitamin C & E, and also eases digestion in dogs. Delectable pumpkin is a cornerstone of Cú Bakery recipes!

Sweet potatoes are high in many important nutrients. They contain a good amount of fiber as well as vitamin A, vitamin C, manganese and several other vitamins and minerals. But you had every dog at “sweet”!
